@VINMIT Use the System Update feature from the [Settings] menu. Its the easiest way to update. The latest version is 2.80.
is it possible to do everything without an update?
@glenn jansen you need to update if you want to play newer games or go online.
yea if you dont have it, some regions shut down your system entirely, unless you never play online with it, if you have within a month or so of the last update & havent updated yet, almost all of your ps3 is locked.
I am having the problem with system recovery. i have read few of the things from u-tube but dident worked. unit was purchased in us and now it in india. help the solve the fixing problem.

@ROHIT chill dude. You need to update your system obviously. Then you will see the recovery menu.
where can i get the confirm update have tried from the 3.72 but the PS#3 shows the data error code 2002F2C5. guide me to get the coorect update download site. Thanks
