The Uncharted 2 PlayStation Home Space will be going live tomorrow. The PlayStation Space will feature a Nepalese village environment contains no less than three mini-games as well as an array of must have PlayStation Home Rewards, leaderboards and more. Take part in the multiplayer Fortunate Thieves adventure or try and re-assemble all of the pieces of the shattered mask for the mysterious Stone Face in Mask Mayhem.

Oddworld Coming to PSN This Week
The PSOne Classics Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee and Oddworld: Abe’s Exodus will both be available on the PlayStation Store for only $9.99 each starting Thursday, October 22. Finally, gamers who never got the chance to meet and play as Abe when he first came out on the PSone system, will now get that chance to meet the guy who graced many magazine covers and proved the unlikely hero that captured people’s hearts.
Pre-order Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! on UMD
To aid NIS America’s decision to release Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! on UMD, a UMD pre-order process has been started. Fans of the game have been asking for a UMD release for some time, but NISA is concerned about the actual demand. You can pre-order your copy from RosenQueen.com. However, in order to make it possible for NISA to manufacture the UMD, they will have to get at least 1000 orders.
Calling All Cars Server To Be Shutdown
The Calling All Cars servers will be shutting down in the new year, making it the first game to shut down its servers. On January 14th 2010, the servers will be taken offline. The only way to play the game from this date is locally. The announcement was made in-game. Calling All Cars has been available for a few years now so it’s about time really.
The PSP Needs Trophies Too
The PlayStation 3 received trophy support over a year ago, bring more replay value to games and also rewarding gamers by completing special feats. We think trophies were a great addition to PS3 games, and its about time it comes to the PSP. More often than not, we find ourselves playing games purely for the trophies, and we’re not alone. New DLC Coming to SOCOM: Confrontation
Sony has announced Cold Front, a new downloadable content pack for SOCOM: Confrontation. Loaded with features, the pack will bring a snowy Eastern European area of operations into play with two new maps and three classic SOCOM maps for 16 to 32 players. The classic maps are drawn from the most popular SOCOM maps of all time, each built from the ground up for the PS3.
Modern Warfare 2 Co-Op Campaign Scrapped
Infinity Ward has scrapped the co-op support for Modern Warfare 2’s main campaign mode, claiming it “really broke” the game’s cinematic experience. Speaking to VG247, communications head Robert Bowling commented, “We did it early on; that’s what Spec Ops started out as, as co-op through story.” As a result, the original co-op mode formed the nucleus of what would later become the Spec Ops feature, allowing players to tackle a number of segments from the main campaign which proved suitable for a two-player experience.
First God of War Collection Trailer
Sony has posted a trailer for the upcoming God of War Collection. Expected in November, the collection contains God of War and God of War II, both remastered in full HD on a single Blu-ray Disc. If you pre-order the game, you also receive a voucher code to download the God of War III demo.
Uncharted: Eye of Indra Announced
Naughty Dog are releasing a prequel to the original Uncharted, as a motion comic. The announce was made during a live chat on the PlayStation website by Neil Druckmann of Naughty Dog, “We have an exclusive announcement! We’re releasing a prequel story to Uncharted 1 as a motion comic voiced by your favorite actors from the two games. Stay tuned for more info.”
SCEA Announces 250GB PS3 Slim
Sony Computer Entertainment of America has officially announced the new PlayStation 3 system with 250GB HDD. The new model will be available on November 3 for $349.99 USD. Sony’s new PS3 Slim model has sold well since its launch in September, and this latest 250GB unit will offer the same form and functionality as the 120GB model, but with a larger hard drive. Sony has sold some 1 million units worldwide in the first three weeks of its launch.
