Sony have released a video teasing the brand new PS4 console, but not quite revealing what the console looks like. The trailer reveals that the full console will be unveiled next month at E3, during Sony’s Press Conference starting at 6:00pm Pacific Time (2.00am 11th June BST, 3.00am CET).

Apparently, the PS4 reveal trailer – expected to appear at E3 next month – has been leaked, showing what the console will look like. The video looks pretty professional, however, its likely that the video is fake, since there is no evidence to support the video. The console itself looks futuristic and sleek – check out the video below.
Rumor Alert: PS4 Reveal In April or May

Sony may be planning to reveal the PS4 before E3, if a report from PC Mag is to be believed. Aside from the PS4 specification and new DualShock 4 controller, Sony has yet to reveal the console’s physical form and pricing, so its likely that Sony will reveal both before E3 in June. The site says to “expect a big announcement from Sony about its next-gen PlayStation 4 console this month or possibly in early May.”
inFamous: Second Son Expected to be PS4 Launch Title

The resumé of a graphics programmer at Sucker Punch Productions has revealed that inFamous: Second Son will be PS4 launch title. However, since Sucker Punch has not confirmed (or denied) the news, it’s safe to classify this as a rumour for now. The resumé has since been altered to remove the references to dates but not before a screen grab was taken (below).

The latest issue of PSM3 magazine has a number of PlayStation 4 rumours, as reported by GameFront.de. According to the magazine, the console won’t be called the ‘PS4′ or ‘PlayStation 4′ as the number 4 is considered unlucky in Japan and has an alternative pronunciation related to death.
Sony Shipping PS4 Dev Kits to Developers

If rumours from last night are true, Sony have begun shipping PlayStation 4 / Orbis development kits to development studios in North America. According to VG24/7, the Dev Kit is essentially a modified PC using components close to what the final PS4 will actually contain. A updated Dev Kit with near-final specs will ship in January.
PS4 May Support 4K Resolution

4K is a resolution standard for several different resolutions in digital cinemas and computer graphics, roughly 4 times larger than 1080p HD resolution. Apparently, Sony is planning to launch its first 4K consumer device, the XBR LED TV as large at 80″ soon and there has been chatter that the PS4 will support this resolution.
Sony: PSN Hack Claims are “Completely False”

Last night, there were rumours that the PlayStation Network was hacked for a second time, and 50GB of emails and passwords were leaked. However, Sony was quick to confirm that the claims “completely false” and that no user data was compromised.
