New details about The Last of Us Remastered for the PS4 has emerged, with the game releasing towards the end of this month. CVG picked up on a few tweets by MeriStation journalist Javi Andres, indicating new DLC will be heading to the game in 2014, and there will be an option to lock the framerate to 30fps, with the default set at 60fps at 1080p resolution.
Naughty Dog has confirmed, via Twitter, that the Last of Us: Remastered will run at 60fps on PS4 when it releases on July 30th 2014. Naughty Dog have released new versions of the two E3 trailers for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and The Last of Us Remastered, both in glorious 1080p Full HD resolution. Both the trailers were captured completely in-game, with Drake’s Uncharted 4 model using over double the polygons of Joel from The Last of Us on PS3.
The Last of Us Remastered for the PS4 was finally given a confirmed release date at Sony’s E3 Press Conference yesterday. The game will be available in stores and digitally on July 29th 2014, complete with additional content. In addition to announcing a release date, Naught Dog has also released a full 1080p trailer rendered at 60fps.
Sony has (finally) confirmed the existence of The Last of Us for the PS4, which will be called The Last of Us Remastered on the next-gen console. Now, Spanish retailer Xtralife.es has added more weight to the existence of the game by releasing the PS4 packshot of the game, which comes with a bonus bag.
Sercan Sulun, PlayStation Turkey’s VP, let slip that The Last of Us is heading to the PS4 this summer, when interviewed by CNN Turk TV. Instead of giving the usual “nothing to announce yet” comment, Sulun confirmed that the first game will be coming to the PS4 with enhanced graphics.
Following The Last of Us and Naughty Dog’s five BAFTA awards last week, the team has more good news to share about the PS3 exclusive game. The Last of Us has now surpassed six million sales worldwide, since being released less than a year ago, in June 2013.
Last night in London at the video game BAFTA awards ceremony, PlayStation won big thanks to The Last of Us and Tearaway. Between the two games, a total of 8 BAFTAs were won. Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us on PS3 won five awards, including Best Game.
