Square Enix has announced new DLC for Marvel’s Avengers, and has provided the roadmap for new content to expect throughout this year. The new content for 2021 includes the Black Panther: War for Wakanda DLC, which will be releasing later this year (see below for a trailer).

Housemarque’s Returnal is coming to the PS5 next month, after short delay that was announced back in January. Ahead of the release, a new two-minute trailer for the game has been released, focusing on the game’s story and protagonist Selene, who crashes on an alien planet.

A new Life is Strange game has been announced by Square Enix and developer Deck Nine, this time as a full blown game. The new title in the series, Life is Strange: True Colors, is dropping the episodic format and will instead be a complete game, releasing in September 2021.

Following the announcement of the next-generation of PlayStation VR on the PS5 last month, Sony has today revealed the new controller that will play a critical role in the VR experience. The new controller incorporates the technologies used in the PS5’s DualSense controller as well as new finger touch detection, and comes complete with a unique design.

Lucid Games have released the Year One Roadmap, which details the new content players can expect, as well as the start of Seasons. The first season, called Hotshots, will kick-off in April and will introduce a new competitive mode called Blitz.

Title update v1.2.0 is out now for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on the PS4 and PS5. The rather large patch brings with it lots of bugs and fixes, as well as the Ostara Festival (the Viking version of Easter) to the game. The patch is roughly 12.3GB in size on the PS5 and slightly larger on the PS4 at 12.6GB.

Since June 2020, PlayStation Plus subscribers who play GTA V Online every month get GTA$1,000,000 credited to their account within 72 hours. This benefit will be changing from next month, with March being the last month to get this automated credit.

A new patch for Nioh 2 has been released by Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja, which is now available to download on both the PS4 and PS5. The patch updates the game to v1.27 and includes a number of bug fixes for both versions of the game.

The PlayStation Store charts for North America and Europe have been revealed, showing the top selling digital games on the PlayStation Store last month. On the PS5, FIFA 21 was the top selling game in both regions, while on the PS4, GTA V was the top seller in North America and FIFA 21 in Europe.

A number of new games have been added to PlayStation Now in the March 2021 update. Four new games are playable on demand as of 2nd March, including World War Z (time limited until September 2021) and InFamous Second Son, joining the hundreds of other PS4, PS3 and PS2 games on the service.
