Sony’s #PlayStationMemories campaign in Europe continues today with a massive sale on PS2 titles. The console, which was released back in late 2000, has sold over 150 million units worldwide, and saw great games like Final Fantasy X, Tekken 5, GTA III, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and many more great titles – some of which are now on sale.
US PlayStation Store Update for July 9th 2013

New PS3 and PS Vita games are available on the US PlayStation Store this week, including Binary Domain (PS3) and Total Recoil (PS Vita). New PlayStation Plus content is available too this week, with Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee HD now part of the Instant Game Collection.
Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD Remaster Limited Edition Revealed

Square Enix have announced that Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD on the PS3 will be getting a Special Edition. The special edition (at least in Europe) will include a book with concept art from the game, commentary from the original development teams and a special outer case to package everything in.
PAL PlayStation Store Chart for June 2013

Sony Europe has released the PlayStation Store chart for June 2013 in Europe, revealing that Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us was the top selling title on the PS3. A number of re-entries make up the remainder of the PS3 chart, while new title Hotline Miami was the top selling game on the PS Vita.
The Last of Us Becomes Fastest Selling PS3 Game for 2013

Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us continues to make headlines this week, after becoming the fastest selling PS3 title of the year. The game has sold more than 3.4 million copies as of last Tuesday, which also makes it the fastest selling new software title in the entire history of PlayStation.
First GTA V Gameplay Video Released

Rockstar has released the world’s first gameplay video for it’s upcoming open-world title Grand Theft Auto 5. The almost five-minute clip shows new footage from the game and explains Rockstar’s new take on the game, which features three protagonists with intertwined stories.
LOVEFiLM Ending Game Rentals for All Customers In August 2013

If you are a LOVEFiLM customer renting games, it’s time to cancel you subscription. The company, owned by Amazon, has announced that it will be ending its games rental service for all customers from August 8th 2013. Customers who have the Games package will be downgraded to the Unlimited DVDs & Blu-rays package, which included unlimited LOVEFiLM Instant access too.
Sky’s Now TV Out of Beta, Available on PS3

Sky’s Now TV streaming service is finally out of beta and officially available on the PS3, giving gamers in the UK access to Sky Sports and Sky Movies channels. The service costs £15 a month, but comes with a 30-day free trial, a reduced three-month introductory price of £8.99 per month, and a free 90-day PlayStation Plus subscription.
Tales of Xillia 2 Coming to PS3 Next Year

Namco Bandai have announced that the sequel to Tales Of Xillia, which releases next month, will release exclusively on the PS3 in 2014. Tales Of Xillia releases in Europe and North America in August 2013, but has been available in Japan since September 2011. The sequel has also been available in Japan since December 2012.
The Last of Us Continues to Top UK Games Chart

Naughty Dog’s PS3 exclusive The Last Of Us continues to dominate the UK Games Chart, which has been the top selling title for four weeks running since release. The Xbox 260 Edition of Minecraft continues to hold second place this week too, while Animal Crossing: New Leaf has dropped to fourth place, moving FIFA 13 into third.
