The latest footage from PS3 exclusive Heavy Rain comes from the Polish version of the game. The video shows some of the QTE (Quick Time Events) in the game and also contains some of that much talked about nudity, so be sure not to watch the video at work. The game is expected to hit stores in February 2010.

Starting from 6:00PM today, you will be able to earn double cash by playing online in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The double cash weekend will go on from December 24th 2009 to December 27 2009 at 7:00PM GMT. During the double cash weekend, you will earn double for all kills and medals. Yes, you read that right, you’ll be getting Double Cash for medals as well.
Assassin’s Creed 2 DLC Coming Early 2010

Assassin’s Creed 2 is getting two downloadable packs early next year, with the first pack out in January followed by another in February. The DLC packs, Battle of Forli and Bonfire of the Vanities, were originally supposed to be part of the main game, but was dropped due to time constraints. “I felt that, ‘Okay, there were too many things to do and to finish.’ So we said, ‘Okay, let’s take a portion of the game that was planned and we’ll give it in DLC.’ We’ll remove some stress to the team while giving more to fans and people who like Assassin’s Creed,” Patrice Desilets told Kotaku.
God of War: Blood & Metal EP Announced

For those that have been waiting for another reason to pre-order God of War III Ultimate Edition, this might just be your tipping point. Announced today through Roadrunner Records, the EP titled God of War: Blood & Metal, will be released in March as a part of the God of War III Ultimate Edition, and will feature five exclusive unreleased songs from Roadrunner artists, including KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, DREAM THEATER, TRIVIUM, OPETH and TAKING DAWN.
PlayStation Store Update for Dec 22nd 2009

The PlayStation Store has been updated today, rather than the usual Thursday updates. A large number of games have been discounted until January 7th 2010. PSOne classic Vagrant Story is now available to purchase, and new playable demos have been added too. The first set of Premium Avatars are also available for purchase, all based on LittleBigPlanet. adhocParty is also finally available in Europe too. The LittleBigPlanet Pirates of the Caribbean costumes are available to purchase on both the US and European Stores.

A survey sent to Kotaku from IPSOS Online Research gives an indication into the type of packages that Sony might be offering via paid subscriptions to the PlayStation Network. The survey gives an indication of cost and features that will be available for each option, including: 1 one hour trial of full titles, cross-game voice chat and free access to PSOne classics, PSP Minis and PS3/PSP themes, and member only in-game content.
MAG Open Beta Announced

With the release of MAG not far off now, Zipper and Sony Computer Entertainment have teamed up to bring you the final and 100% open PSN Beta. This will be a global Beta allowing you to compete with players from all over the world, with access to the game’s 64-player ‘Sabotage’ and 256-player ‘Domination’ game modes. New Beta users will have access to the download on the PlayStation Store from January 4th onwards, with the Beta ending on January 10th at 07:59 GMT.
