Tekken 6 Patch v1.03 Now Available

January 19th, 2010 / Niraj Shah / News
5

The latest patch for Tekken 6 has now gone live, adding the promised online co-op for the Scenario Campaign mode. Booting up Tekken 6 will prompt you to download the 16MB patch. Creating a online co-op game will allow you to setup the game just like you would in the normal online mode. You will be able to select parameters on games you wish to create or join, such as difficulty setting, voice chat, connectivity, and which stage you’d like to play in.

But, for Scenario Campaign, you also get to indicate your session objective, be it Score Challenge, Item Collection, or you’re just tired of the AI Alisa chainsawing everyone. The co-op mode can only used to complete the 10 harder stages in the game (excluding Midnight Train), though. Naturally, Namco has made the co-op stages slightly harder when playing co-op by adding in more tougher enemies.

So the man who voiced Heihachi has apparently been found dead in the streets of Japan with his wrists slit… Maybe he thought that’s the only way to get away from these constant tekken rehashes!!

I dont actually own this game and I’m not sure I want to, Im more of a Fall Out person, but I do keep glancing at this game and wondering if I should give it a shot.. My mate owns this game so maybe online -co-op would be funner..

This for me, was one of the worst installments of the series. Loading times where too long. even if you were retrying a fight.

Looking foward to see what the upcoming Tekken film will show tho!
