Some images found on the PlayStation Website suggest that Facebook and Customizable profile cards will be coming to the PlayStation 3 in a future firmware update. The images have since been taken down from the UK PlayStation Website but its a little too late, as this story is spreading like rapid fire across the Internet.

Modern Warfare 2 Patch 1.02 Released
A new patch for Modern Warfare 2 is now available to download, addressing the trophy bug we wrote about earlier this week. The v1.02 patch, however, does not address other issues in the game, such as problems in inviting friends to join in a multiplayer game via the Party System. A new patch will be released this Friday to address some of the other issues in the game.

Modern Warfare 2 Trophy Bug
After booting up our copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for the first time, you will be prompted to download a 15mb patch for the game. However, it seems that this patch is causing issues with the trophy system. On playing the game for the first time, the trophy list should be loaded on to your console, but this isn’t always the case. As a result, you will not be able to earn any trophies unless the list has been loaded.

Two new major features have been added to Beta 4, including “proximity chat”, which allows you to hear enemies communicating as you get closer, and the Shadow War bonuses system, which rewards players based on the number of contracts own by their PMC.

According to James Stevenson of Insomniac Games at the NeoGAF forum, the update will fix a bug that will cause a challenge mode game in progress to suddenly revert into a regular game. No exact release date for the patch was given, however. The game was released in North America in late October and recently came out in Europe earlier this month.
First Blu-Ray to Include PS3/PSP Digital Copy Available This Week
Its been almost two years since Blu-Ray Digital Copy was first announced, back at the Consumer Electronics Show in 2008. Finally, the first Blu-Ray movie to include exclusive PSP and PS3 digital copy will be available this week in the US. Some earlier movies, including Watchmen, have included a digital copy with the purchase of a Blu-Ray movie, but either require you to download the movie from the Internet or are on a disc not readable by the PS3. The Ugly Truth, on the other hand, is the first to have a PSP/PS3 compatible digital copy on the disc.
