Resident Evil 4 HD is coming to the PlayStation Network this month. The entire Resident Evil 4 experience (including all bonus content from previous versions) has been remastered in high definition and will be a treat for both new fans and RE veterans. The game will be available on the PlayStation Store on Wednesday, September 21st.

Great news for fans of Final Fantasy X. Square Enix has just announced that Final Fantasy X will be getting an HD re-release in celebration of the game’s 10th anniversary. Personally, I rather see a remake of Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII for the PS3 and PlayStation Vita in HD, but this is good news nonetheless.
Red Dead Redemption is getting a Game of the Year Edition next month, and full details were announced by Rockstar today. The new edition will be released next month, on October 11th in North America and October 14th internationally on both the PS3 and Xbox 360. The GOYT edition will include all of the downloadable content Rockstar has released for Red Dead Redemption both free and paid.
Looks like gamers are having fun with the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Open Beta since it opened up to all PSN users last week. Ubisoft have decided to extend the beta by a few extra days until this weekend. The beta was scheduled to end on September 12th 2011 (yesterday), but has now been extended until September 17th 2011.
The Rezurrection downloadable map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops has been available on the Xbox 360 for some time already, as a timed exclusive. Now, the PS3 and PC versions of the DLC has been dated. The map pack, which features nothing but zombie maps, will be available on those two platforms beginning next Thursday, September 22nd.
Activision’s Robert Bowling has confirmed (via Twitter) that upcoming shooter Modern Warfare 3 will feature split-screen multiplayer. His exact tweet mentioned “online splitscreen multiplayer”, which will be great news for gamers will siblings and only one PS3 between them.

Bored of your black PS3? According to GameStop, the White PS3 is coming to Europe this November but will be exclusive to them. The White PS3 has already been available in Japan for over a year – it was released back in July 2010.
