The PlayStation 3D Display first unveiled at E3 has been getting plenty of buzz, and now you can pre-order the display. Sony has a pre-order offer, which includes the 24-inch 3D Display, one pair of universal PlayStation 3D glasses, MotorStorm Apocalypse on Blu-ray, and an HDMI cable – you’ll also receive a copy of Resistance 3 on Blu-ray.

Sony’s Press Conference at E3 is always a much-watch for any PlayStation Fan, and this year Sony has decided to stream the entire thing live on the PlayStation.Blog. E3 2011 takes place on June 6th 2011 until June 9th, with a majority of the conferences happening on Day, including Sony’s.
Sony is looking to release two PlayStation certified tablets, names S1 and S2. According to the video below, the S1 looks like a iPad rival with very similar design, a 9.4 inch screen and a Tegra 2 CPU. The S2 looks more like a Nintendo DS rival with two 5.5 inch touchscreen panels and a 1024×480 display.
With all the recent news about the PlayStation 3 being hacked, Sony is no doubt anxious to plug the holes and secure the system software once more. Sony recently spoke to UK Magazine EDGE in connection with the recent hacks, stating they are aware of the issue and investigating.
Earlier this week, Sony announced their financial and figures from the first quarter of the fiscal year – with the fiscal year ending on March 31st 2011. The figures indicate the company has made an operating income of $753 million with a net income of $289 million.
SCEE has confirmed that it will be holding its gamescom press conference on Tuesday August 17th at 5pm UK time, right after EA’s conference on the same day. Sony has also revealed a preliminary list of games that will be showcased at the expo (which can be found below).
Unlike last year, we will not be live blogging Sony’s Press Conference. Frankly, we don’t see the point seeing as half the gaming community will be doing it for us. The US PlayStation Website suggests that new hardware will be revealed at E3 this week. The website states, “The E3 expo is coming! Meet us here to find out what awesome PlayStation games and hardware are being revealed.” In addition, CVG has learned that Sony is set to reveal two new PS3 SKUs this week which will come bundled with the Move motion controller.
