A press release from Sony has just revealed that the PlayStation VR Starter Pack is getting a global price cut starting from 29th March 2018. The bundle, which had a retail price of £349.99 / €399.99 / $399.99 is dropping to just £259.99 / €299.99 / $299.99. The Starter Pack includes the VR headset, the PlayStation Camera and PlayStation VR Worlds game as a PSN code.
Following on from the North America price cut, SCEE has announced that the PS4 is also getting a price cut in Europe. Effective from today, the 500GB PS4 will now be available for €349.99/£299.99 (RRP) across Europe and Australasia. It’s good news for those thinking about getting a PS4 for Christmas, and is sure to boost sales of the console.
In time for Christmas, Sony has announced a price cut in North America effective from tomorrow. In the US and Canada from October 9th 2015, you will now be able to pick up the PS4 at the new price of $349.99 USD / $429.99 CAD (MSRP) – a reduction of $50 in the US, and $20 in Canada. It’s unclear if the price of the PS4 will also be reduced in other territories.
Konami has announced that Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will be getting a price drop on PS4 and Xbox One, reducing the price to match the digital versions of the game on next-gen consoles. The price has been dropped from the original RRP of £39.99 to £29.99. The cost of the digital version for PS3 and Xbox 360 will remain at £19.99.
Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) today announced that the PlayStation 3 will be available for a new lower price. The PS3 with 160GB hard disk drive, currently available at a recommended retail price of £249 will be available at a very attractive new RRP of £199 in the UK.

In addition, you can also pick up all three expansion packs for an additional $9.99 (or just the ones you need for $4.99 each). It’s been more than two years since the game was first released and there are still lots of players having fun online.
Today, more minis titles have been reduced in price. Some of the best selling titles from the minis category start from just €1.49 / £1.24. Best of all, the minis work on both the PSP and PS3. The price reduction is only effective for a limited time only, ending on March 4th 2010.
For a limited time only, all Call of Duty: World at War map packs are half price on the PlayStation Store. The three World at War map packs are available for half price until November 1st 2009 and only to North America – sorry Europe! PlayStation 3 stocks in the UK have become pretty scarce over the past few weeks. According to Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter, there is mounting evidence of a price cut. Speaking in a recent VG247 podcast, Pachter said that Japanese retailers are in a situation similar to the one retailers in the UK are experiencing. The PS3 price cut is widely believed to be made public at GamesCom in Cologne on Tomorrow.
