PS4 Teaser Was Most Viewed YouTube Video in May in the UK

Sony’s PS4 teaser trailer was the most viewed YouTube clip in the UK last month according to Marketing Week. The video racked up over 7.6 million views in just over a month, beating Call of Duty’s “Masked Warriors” clip, and an advert from Specsavers, which hasn’t even hit 1 million views yet.

Sony Releases FAQs on Firmware v4.45 Bricking

Following the release of PS3 Firmware v4.45 yesterday, Sony has provided FAQs on those affected with bricked consoles on what to do next. Unfortunately, Sony is still investigating the issue leading to broken consoles, so the answers aren’t that helpful, with most just saying “We kindly ask PS3 users to wait for further details. EU PlayStation Store Update for June 19th 2013

Seven new PS3 games are available on the PlayStation Store in Europe this week, along with seven new PS Vita titles too. Battlefield 3 and Saints Row: The Third Coming to PlayStation Plus in July

Sony Europe has revealed that five new games are coming to PlayStation Plus in July, including Battlefield 3 for the PS3 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus for the PS Vita. All five of the new games will be released to the store on July 3rd, 2013. Following on from the US, Saints Row: The Third will also be made available in the Instant Game Collection next month.

Arriving in September is then highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 5 for the PS3, and Sony has revealed a brand new PS3 bundle and custom Pulse wireless headset to go along with it. Mad Max Announced for PS4

Sony and Warner Brothers Interactive have announced Mad Max for the PS4, based on the films starring Mel Gibson. The game is being developed by Avalanche Studios for Warner Brothers Interactive, who were also behind the Just Cause games, and will be coming to the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2014.

Critically acclaimed Saints Row: The Third is coming to the Instant Game Collection in North America today along with a new PS Vita compatible PSP title. The two games will be added to the PlayStation Store as part of today’s weekly update. Both games will be free to download if you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber, adding to XCOM, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and LittleBigPlanet Karting, which were added to the Instant Game Collection last week.
