A number of new PSN games are available on the PlayStation Store this week, including Hotline Miami, which is cross-buy compatible with the PS Vita. You can also find new DLC content for the PS3 and PS Vita, and Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward has been added to the Instant Game Collection.
Sony to Focus on PS4 at Gamescom

At this year’s Gamescom convention, running between 21st to 25th August, in Cologne, Germany, Sony will focus on the PS4 and it’s games line-up. The company is planning to show off brand new games for the upcoming console, adding to the games already announced at the PlayStation Meeting 2013 and E3 2013.
Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward Comes to Instant Game Collection in US Today

Gran Turismo 6 Anniversary Edition and Pre-Order Bonuses Revealed

Sony has revealed the Anniversary Edition of Gran Turismo 6, which will be releasing in Winter 2013 alongside the Standard Edition of the game. The special edition will be packed with extra content set to make your time with GT6 even more fun, including in-game credit, 20 cars and the Apex II game guide.

A screenshot taken from the PS3 development kit reveals that the console runs on a modified version of UNIX based operating system FreeBSD. The OS has been heavily modified by Sony and re-branded with the name Orbis OS – which also happens to be the PS4’s rumoured codename when it was first in development.
Puppeteer Demo Coming This Week

Upcoming platform puzzler Puppeteer will be getting a playable demo this week, but only in Japan for the moment. The demo, dubbed the “Rehearsal Version” will be releasing on the PlayStation Network on June 27th, 2013, and may come to the US and Europe at a later date.
PSN Maintenance Scheduled for Tuesday, 25th June 2013

Sony has revealed that maintenance will be taking place on the PlayStation Network tomorrow, starting in the afternoon and lasting through the evening. The PSN will be offline from 5.30pm BST/6.30pm CET and will last until around midnight BST/1.00am CET. Sony says the maintenance is necessary to “continue bringing you the best online games experience on PSN.”
The Last Of Us Continued to Dominate UK Games Chart

Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us continues to top the UK Games Chart, keeping it’s number one spot for two weeks running now. Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: New Leaf is behind it in second place, followed by FIFA 13 and Tomb Raider, in third and fourth space, respectively.
Amazon Sees Record Breaking Pre-Orders for Next-Gen Consoles

Amazon is reporting record-breaking number of pre-orders for upcoming next-generation consoles since E3 2013, with a 4,000 percent increase compares to last year. At it’s peak, Amazon reported that pre-orders for the PS4 and Xbox One exceed 2,500 unites per minute.
Hotline Miami Release Date Confirmed, Exclusive Content Detailed

Sony has revealed that Hotline Miami will be releasing on the PS3 and PS Vita next week in both North America and Europe. The game will launch in North America on June 25th for $9.99, and in Europe on June 26th for £7.29 / €8.99. In addition, the PlayStation versions of the game will have an exclusive new mask designed by Abstraction and Dennaton Games.
