A new feature of the PS5 has been revealed in an interview with SIE’s VP of mechanical design Yasuhiro Ootori. Apparently, the PS5 will collect data on how each game affects the system temperature, which can then be used to update how the fan operates via Firmware updates.

Following the release of PS4 Firmware 8.0 last week, users noticed that voice chat could be recorded and sent to Sony, which raised privacy concerns.
