This week, Sony reports the launch of several new partners on PlayStation Network that offer even more downloadable entertainment and sports from PlayStation Video Store. Lucasfilm Ltd. adds Star Wars: The Clone Wars, a CGI animated TV series set in the fictional Star Wars galaxy to the store and MLB content has also been added for baseball fans.

Military Madness: Nectaris And Numblast Available on PSN This Week

Two new PSN titles hit the US PlayStation Store this week. First off, Military Madness: Nectaris will be released this Thursday on the PSN, featuring native 1080p graphics and focusing on multiplayer. Numblast, which is already available in Europe and Japan, is a addictive puzzle game (available for both PS3 and PSP) at the attractive price of $4.99 for either platform.
SCEE Announced European Video Store Launch Titles

Later this month, the PlayStation Video store launches in Europe after being available in the US for more than a year. Sony has announced a number of titles that will make the initial launch, including Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The service will allow movie fans to download the latest releases straight to their PlayStation 3 and PSP for viewing at home or on.
Gran Turismo 5 Will Include Track Editor

Over the weekend Polyphony Digital, the developer of the Gran Turismo series, has confirmed that the title will include a track editor, allowing gamers to create their own tracks or edit existing tracks included in the game. E4G confirmed the rumor with the developer. Unfortunately, there is still no word on a western release date for the title.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Update and Double Cash Weekend

The next time you start up Uncharted 2: Among Thieves you will be required to download an update to the game (Japan and Asia regions — your update will be available next week). In addition, this weekend you can also earn Double Cash when playing multiplayer. The Double Cash Weekend starts on Friday, October 30, 2009, at 6:00 PM GMT and continues until Monday, November 2, 2009, at 6:00 PM GMT.

This week on the US Video Store you can find Orphan, The Proposal, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, and Battlestar Galactica: The Plan. In addition over 50 horror titles have been added to the Halloween House of Horror Featured Collection, just in time for Halloween. The top movie downloads this week are:

God Of War 3 PSN Demo Voucher Code Going Out This Weekend

So far, the God of War III demo has made its way to Japan and the US in various ways but nothing for Europe. Until now, that is. This weekend, SCEE will be emailing out voucher codes to a selected number of PAL PSN users who registered to receive the SCEE promotional newsletter. The voucher code will allow users to download the E3 demo of God of War III, which is scheduled for release in March 2010.
PlayStation Store Update for Oct 29th 2009

Mike Kebby wasn’t lying last week when he said that Europe would be getting a massive update. Europe has indeed received a massive update with five new playable demos, price promotion on many titles and a plethora of game add-on content, including new packs for Cross Edge, Guitar Hero 5, DJ Hero and Rock Band: Beatles. The US Store update is smaller but includes three new demos, add-on game content and videos.
God of War 3 Demo on District 9 Blu-Ray Disc

Come December 29th, when you snag your copy of District 9 on Blu-ray, included on the very same disc will be the highly sought after God of War III E3 2009 Demo. This hybrid disc is an industry and PlayStation first which will pair together this summer’s must see Sci-Fi BLOCKBUSTER with SCEA’s powerhouse action title. As an added bonus for God of War fans, those that complete the demo will unlock an exclusive making of featurette about God of War III.
WipEout HD Patch 2.10 Incoming

WipEout HD will be getting a patch soon, which makes some small improvements to front-end functionality and addresses some minor issues with the audio. In addition, small issues that could affect gameplay or scores in the Eliminator and Detonator game modes have also been corrected. Changes have also been made so that any adverts shown during loading screens will not adversely affect the loading times of the title.
