Earlier today, SCEE officially announced the third title in the Uncharted series: Drake’s Deception. The title is once again being developed by the team at Naughty God Inc, and exclusive to the PlayStation 3. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception blurs the entertainment boundaries, delivering the cinematic scale, adrenalin rushes, thrills and mystery that are the UNCHARTED trademark.

Rumor Alert: Killzone 3 Will Have Online Co-op Missions
Killzone 3 is sounding better and better with each passing week. According to the developers, Guerrilla Games, Killzone 3 will definitely support split-screen co-up, but there has been no official work about online co-op. TheSixthAxis contacted a trusted source to learn that the game will support both online and offline co-up.
Gran Turismo 5 Patched to v1.03
Gran Turismo 5 has received yet another patch, this time weighing in at nearly 150MB. The new patch required the latest PS3 Firmware update v3.55, which was released earlier today. Early reports suggest that this particular update added a setting for mechanical damage in online games, from “none”, “light” and “heavy”.

With the new of Firmware 3.50 being Jailbroken, Sony has been quick to respond by patching the security hole quickly. As a result, firmware 3.55 has been released to patch the vulnerability, preventing jailbreak from having effect. It’s clear that Sony doesn’t want piracy to get out of hand like it did on the PSP and is trying to keep up with hackers.
