Yesterday we revealed that PlayStation Plus subscribers in North America will get exclusive access to the Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood beta trial. The beta will also be available to European PlayStation Plus subscribers. PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to download the beta from the PlayStation Store on September 27th 2010, and will be exclusive for one week.

LittleBigPlanet 2 Delayed to January 2011
Media Molecule has announced that the release of LittleBigPlanet 2 has been delayed by a few months. The title was originally scheduled for release in November of this year but has now been pushed back to January 2011. The title has been delayed worldwide due to allow the development team more time to complete the game.
US PlayStation Plus Getting Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood Beta
In early October, PlayStation Plus subscribers in the US are in for a treat. Select PlayStation Plus members will get their hands on the first-ever multiplayer modes of the Assassin’s Creed franchise in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. PlayStation Plus subscribers will also receive an automatic download of the Alien Breed: Impact demo.
FirstPlay Episode 25 Details
Episode 25 of FirstPlay will be available to download from the European PlayStation Store tomorrow, containing an exclusive Joe Danger avatar to brighten up your PSN profile, as well as his and her Top Gun t-shirts for PlayStation Home. Episode 25 also has reviews of Capcom’s Dead Rising 2 and PlayStation Move chair combat racer Kung Fu Rider, plus a preview of Nail’d, and some exclusive new footage of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine.
PS3 System Software Update v3.50 Details
Firmware updated version 3.50 is now available to download. The main feature included in the new update is support for 3D Blu-ray movie playback, but we have information on other new features too. You can update your console via the Network Update option under the [Settings] menu. Details of the other new features included in this update can be found below.
PlayStation Network Scheduled Maintenance Today
The PlayStation Network will be offline for scheduled maintenance from 16:00 on today until 02:00 on Wednesday 22 September 2010, BST. During the maintenance window, all PlayStation Network services will be unavailable including the PlayStation Store, Account Management features and Account Registration.
15 Years of PlayStation – Infographic

The Last Guardian Coming Holiday 2011
At the Tokyo Game Show last week, Team Ico showed off a brand-new trailer for The Last Guardian depicting a variety of real-time gameplay footage. In addition to announcing the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection for PS3, Team Ico also revealed that The Last Guardian has been scheduled for release in 2011.
Blu-ray 3D Disc Playback Support Coming Next Week
Firmware v3.50 will be available to download next week, and will come with 3D support for Blu-Ray movies. For those that have purchased 3D TVs, the firmware update will be available to download on September 21st 2010. The new firmware update will effectively make all 38 million PS3s worldwide compatible with 3D Blu-Ray discs.
TGS 2010: Devil May Cry for PS3 Revealed in New Trailer
Devil May Cry was officially announced for the PlayStation 3 at the Tokyo Game Show by Capcom. The title has been reborn as DmC, and is being co-developed with British-based Heavenly Sword developer Ninja Theory. The game is still shrouded in mystery, with few details relating to the setting, the combat mechanic, the demonic enemies, or a release date.
