PlayStation Network users will be excited to hear that Sony have just introduced a new movie viewing application exclusively on PSN. The new application, called Filmy, allows easy organization and viewing of AVCHD video recorded with Sony cameras on PlayStation 3.
Episode 44 of FirstPlay hits the UK PlayStation Store tomorrow and is packed with lots of HD videos for you to enjoy over the week. The Killzone 3 Open Beta is now available to download from the PlayStation Store. If you haven’t already downloaded the beta client, you are missing out! The Killzone 3 Open Beta is playable in 3D and supports the PlayStation Move motion controller. The Beta trial runs until February 15th, so get on board while you can!

Watch the official announcement of the NGP console in full HD quality, which was held in Japan last week. SOCOM 4 is preparing to deploy to stores in North America in just a few months on April 19th. In the mean time, Zipper Interactive has also released a new video of the game, showing more multiplayer action from the title. The video, titled “Not For Self”, shows some of the game modes you can expect from the multiplayer side of the game.
