Rumor Alert: PlayStation Motion Controller Will Be Called “Arc”
The Sony Motion Controller, codenamed Gem, will apparently be called “Arc” when it is released later this year. An anonymous source revealed to VG247 that the motion controller will be called Arc, though Sony has once again declined to comment on “rumour or speculation.”
The motion controller is expected to hit shops in Spring 2010 according to Kaz Hirai, President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.
The Ark [or Arc] that will save motion capture gaming! Maybe that’s the mentality behind this name…
