Ubisoft Finally Investigating PS5 Upgrade Issues in UK

The PS5 was released in the UK on 19th November, and from day one, players have experienced issues with some Ubisoft games. Players who own games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion experienced issues in upgrading the PS4 versions of the game to the PS5 versions.

Questions Raised As Ubisoft Publishes PS5 Compatibility List Different to Sony

Earlier this week, Ubisoft published a list of PS4 games that would not be backwards compatible with the PS5, but these games were not mentioned in Sony’s official list of incompatible games. The list has since been retracted by Unisoft citing inaccuracies.

Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six: Quarantine Delayed

Ubisoft has delayed two of it’s upcoming games this week, following an earnings call. Far Cry 6 was officially announced in a Ubisoft Forward event back in July and was scheduled for release in February 2021, but this has been pushed back to after March 2021.

Ubisoft Connect Announced for Cross-Save Support on Ubisoft Games

Ubisoft have announced a new system called Ubisoft Connect, which will allow cross save and progression on Ubisoft games to follow you from platform to platform. The system is due to launch on 29th October 2020 as a free service.

Ubisoft Forward Event Taking Place Next Week

Ubisoft have announced a second Ubisoft Forward event, which will be taking place on 10th September at 11:00 AM PDT / 9.00 PM CST / 8.00 PM BST. The event will be live-streamed, and will provide updates on a number of games including Watch Dogs: Legion, Rainbow Six Siege and more.

Ubisoft to Stop Developing for PS3 and Xbox 360

Ubisoft has announced that the company will stop developing for last-gen consoles. The news was revealed by CEO Yves Guillemot in an earnings call yesterday. Guillemot confirmed that products like Assassin’s Creed, Rainbow Six, The Division and unannounced games, will not get betting PS3 or Xbox 360 versions.

Ubisoft Release Watch Dogs “Honored” Trailer

Ubisoft have released a new trailer for Watch_Dogs, which collates some of the awards and quotes from critics, showing their appreciation for the game. Watch Dogs Coming in 2013

Ubisoft have confirmed that their open-world cyber-thriller, Watch Dogs, is definitely coming in 2013. According to a report on Joystiq.com, Ubisoft’s CEO, Yves Guillemot, was the one to confirm the release window for the title, which will be releasing on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
