Activision has officially announced Call of Duty: Ghosts for the PS3, and other consoles, with a release date set for November 2013. The game will also be “available for next generation platforms,” and is being developed by original Call of Duty studio Infinity Ward. The announcement confirms a retailer leak from last week. The official trailer for the game has also been revealed.
Watch_Dogs on the PS3 now has an official release date, and will be coming to the console in November in North America. The release date for the PS4 version of the game will be revealed at a later date according to Ubisoft. In addition to revealing the game’s release date, Ubisoft has also released a new trailer of the game.
The Dust 514 Open Beta is coming to an end shortly, after months of testing, but the good news is that the full game will be launching in May 2013. The beta will come to an end on May 14th 2013, but will be replaced with the full free-to-play version. The Uprising update will also be released on the same day, adding a ton of new stuff to the game.
Sony has officially revealed the release date for Puppeteer in North American and Europe, as well as unveiling the official box art and a new Story trailer. The game will be releasing exclusively on the PS3 this September in both regions. In North America, the game will be available at retailers from September 10th 2013, followed by Europe on September 11th 2013.
Guacamelee! will be coming to the PS3 and PS Vita next month, DrinkBox Studios has revealed. The game will be releasing in April with cross-buy support, bagging you both the PS3 and PS Vita version of the game. The game, which has been nominated for the IGF award for “Excellence in Visual Art,” also has a Platinum trophy.
Insomniac Games have announced that their co-op shooter Fuse will be coming to the PlayStation 3 in May 2013. The game blends some familiar elements of Resistance 2′s large-scale co-op mode with exotic weapons powered by a powerful alien substance dubbed, “Fuse,” hence the name of the game. Sony has announced at GDC that upcoming PS3 title Puppeteer will be arriving in September. A demo of the game was shown at the Game Developers Conference this week in San Francisco, California. The game will be available on Blu-ray disc and digital download from September 10th 2013, revealed art director Gavin Moore.
Sony has confirmed that Quantic Dream’s upcoming title, Beyond: Two Souls, will be releasing on the PS3 in October. The game was expected to release in May, but has been delayed. Sony has also revealed that Willem Dafoe has joined the cast, playing the part of Nathan Dawkins, a scientist working a government division studying paranormal activities.
Ubisoft has confirmed that a new game is the Assassin’s Creed series will be called Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and will be coming to the PS3 and other consoles in October. The PS3 version will have exclusive content, just like the previous game. Ubisoft have also confirmed that more information and previews will be available on Monday, March 4th at 5PM, once the embargo has been lifted.
Capcom’s mind bending action game, Remember Me, has been given an official release date and new trailer. The game will be releasing on the PS3 and other platforms in June, with the North American release pegged for June 4th, followed by European release on June 7th 2013.
