PlayStation Plus Line-up for June 2021 Announced

The PlayStation Plus games for June 2021 have been announced, which includes the usual two PS4 games and a PS5 game. The three new games will be available to download from Tuesday, 1st June 2021, when the May 2021 line-up is removed. The line-up includes to entirely new games: Operation: Tango and Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown.

Fall Guys Mid Season Update Now Live

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has received mid-season update for Season 4, bringing with it a number of fixes, improvements, and new content including two new rounds. The two new rounds include The Slimescraper, which is a sequel to Slimb Climb; and and Button Bashers, a new 1v1 dueling mode where the best players go through to the next round.

Free In-Game Content Coming to Play At Home Initiative Next Week

Sony has announced more freebies as part of the Play At Home Initiative, which recently saw Horizon Zero Dawn Ultimate Edition given away to all PlayStation owners for free. This time, a selection of in-game will be given away for a number of popular PlayStation games including Rocket League, Destruction AllStars and Call of Duty: Warzone.

Battlefield 6 to be Revealed in June

EA has confirmed that the Battlefield 6 reveal will be coming in June. The game was first announced back in June 2020 during EA Play Live. The reveal of the game was announced in a conference call earlier this week with Investors, following some tweets from the Battlefield account.

The PlayStation Store charts for April 2021 has been revealed, detailing the top selling digital PlayStation games. Last month saw a number of new releases, including Returnal, Outriders, and MLB The Show 21. On the PS5, MLB The Show 21 was the top selling game in the US, while FIFA 21 took the top spot in Europe. However, Returnal made a strong debut in both regions after only a day, making it into the top 5.

PlayStation Now Update for May 2021

PlayStation Now has been updated today, with three new games joining the streaming service. The May 2021 update adds Nioh, a permanent edition to the service, and two new time-limited games, including Streets of Rage 4. The new games are available to play as of today.

Cyberpunk 2077 Patch v1.21 Released

Following the release of patch v1.2 last month, CD Projekt RED has released another “hotfix” for Cyberpunk 2077, updating the game to v1.21. Most importantly, this patch fixes over 25 game progression bugs caused by item errors, NPCs not spawning or getting stuck (or constantly stalking you), and vehicles not spawning.

PS4 Firmware 8.50 has left the open beta phase and has been released to the public, marking the end of Communities on the console. The update is available to download now, and includes a number of privacy improvements and other features, including Share Play with PS5 owners.

On the PS5, the top seller was Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in the US and FIFA 21 in Europe. It Takes Two had a strong debut in both regions, finishing in the top 5, despite only being available for a week.
