Comet Crash, the tower defense game for the PlayStation 3 is getting a free update that will add new features to the game. Comet Crash will get a free patch in a few weeks with some new and remastered sound effects, graphics tweaks, language support and a newly optimized SDTV layout.

VidZone Gets Patched
The VidZone application for Europe has been patched with several bug fixes and improvements. The application came out in mid-June this year for a selected number of countries in Europe, and this is the first major update to the application. The patch adds fill 16:9 widescreen playback, PlayStation Network presence and improved search functionality. Check out the complete changelog below.
SOCOM: Confrontation Patch 1.50 Coming Tuesday
SOCOM: Confrontation will be updated this Tuesday when Patch v1.50 deploys. Patch 1.50 includes many new and diverse features including but not limited to: Clan Ladders, Tournaments, Calendar, Follow-A-Friend, and Private Games. Along with these features there are many optimizations, enhancements and fixes. The changelog for this update is huge (see below). The update will be live Tuesday morning, Pacific time.
Fat Princess Gets Patched
For those users who have been experiencing connection issues in Fat Princess, a patch is now available to download which addresses the issues. Titan Studios have also tweaked some of the point balances and classes based on fan feedback, the new ranking system can be found below. Titan Studios will continue to monitor the game and address any other major issues that copy up. You can report any issues on the PlayStation Forums.
Supersonic Battle Cars Update Released
Psyonix Studios announced today that Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, the action-packed game with the insanely long name, has received a free update that is now available for download. The update includes improved network performance, a host of new replay features and friend matching, 14 new vehicle skins and two brand-new arenas, bringing the total number of Battle-Car arenas from four to six.
WipEout HD Patch v2.00 Out Now
The WipEout HD expansion pack, Fury, will be available to download after tomorrows PlayStation Store update. To prepare the game for the new features, a patch for the game is now available to download. The patch is 109MB in size and include a redesigned interface, new community functionality and some changes to the single and multiplayer game modes.
Killzone 2 Patch v1.29 Incoming
Guerilla Games have confirmed today that they will release patch v1.29 on July 23 at 9:00 AM GMT to fix certain issues caused by the previous patch (v1.28). Gamers have reported “crashes, graphical glitches and general progression issues” after installing patch v1.28. The new patch will fix all these issues.
Killzone 2 Patch v.1.27 Now Available
After an initial delay, the latest patch for Killzone is now available to download. Guerrilla Games has released their 9th patch for their best-selling shooter, Killzone 2. This patch not only contains fixes, but also new functionality that has been requested by the Killzone community. Patch 1.27 is 75MB in size (272MB for Asian release) and is available to download worldwide. You can check out the complete list of changes below.
Crash Commando Patched
A patch for Crash Commando is now available to download. The patch makes a lot of game play and UI improvements to the game (details below). In addition, a demo of the game will be available to download from the PlayStation Store after today’s update. The demo will let you try a level in the single player offline mode. Olof Gustafsson, CEO at EPOS Game Studios, has also announced that downloadable content is on the way.
Noby Noby Boy Updated to v1.1
Noby Noby Boy v1.1 patch is now available on the PlayStation Network. You can update your version of the game by booting it up and downloading the update. The patch fixes a number of bugs in the game and adds some new features. According to Keita Takahashi of Namco Bandai Games, “Honestly, debugging it was hard for multiplayer as it was a hotbed for bugs. So, if you run into a bug or two, please laugh that off. Since there are more silly updates aside from multiplay, I hope everyone has fun with the game as a whole.”
