Attempted by many titles in the past, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes has been said to have zero load times when navigating areas in the open-world areas. Unlike GTA IV, the game won’t have a massive open world space, but smaller open-world areas that make up the larger world.
Konami and Kojima Productions revealed Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes last week, revealing a visually impressive trailer of the game. This week, the developers have released a collection of high-resolution screenshots of the same trailer, showing just how detailed the graphics are.
At PAX 2012, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima showed off 11 minutes of gameplay footage from his upcoming PS3 game Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. “We’re not going to say that it’s Metal Gear Solid 5,” Kojima said after the demo, “but it is a prologue.” Kojima explained that the demo video was a recording of gameplay rendered on PC hardware that was similarly equipped to a PS3, and that the final game should closely resemble the video.
