GeoHot is at it again! The PlayStation 3’s “Root Key” was discovered by a group of hackers last week and has been published by famed hacker GeoHot. The root key allows PS3 users to run homebrew applications without the need for dongles and devices like the PS3 Jailbreak.
New PSOne Classics Spotted on ESRB

If you though the PSOne Classic section on the PlayStation Store was a little small, you will be happy to know that three more titles are on the way very soon. The game listings on the ESRB reveal three previously unannounced PSOne classics coming to the PS3 and PSP.

PlayStation Phone Announcement Expected in February 2011

If you are looking to get hold of a new PlayStation Handheld, you can expect the PlayStation Phone to be announced in February next year. Rumors suggest the phone will be announced in February, followed by a launch in April. In the meantime Sony has trademarked several names in relation to “mobile phones and accessories for mobile phones.”

inFAMOUS Comic Series Announced

In celebration of the upcoming release of inFAMOUS 2, Sucker Punch Productions and DC Comics have announced all-new chapters in the inFAMOUS storyline. Penned by William Harms and illustrated by artist Eric Nguyen, the series bridges the story between inFAMOUS and inFAMOUS 2 and chronicles Cole’s struggle to save Empire City before fleeing to the Southern city of New Marais.
