The PlayStation Store charts for April 2021 has been revealed, detailing the top selling digital PlayStation games. Last month saw a number of new releases, including Returnal, Outriders, and MLB The Show 21. On the PS5, MLB The Show 21 was the top selling game in the US, while FIFA 21 took the top spot in Europe. However, Returnal made a strong debut in both regions after only a day, making it into the top 5.

Rumours over the weekend suggest that Sony is working on two colour variants of the PS5 DualSense controller, and will be available “very soon”. Square Enix have released a new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, which is making its way to the PS5 next month. The new trailer shows off footage from the base game as well as the new episode featuring Yuffie Kisaragi. The Yuffie episode introduces a number of new gameplay elements, including the Fort Condor mini-game found in the original FFVII.

PlayStation Now has been updated today, with three new games joining the streaming service. The May 2021 update adds Nioh, a permanent edition to the service, and two new time-limited games, including Streets of Rage 4. The new games are available to play as of today.

Lucid Games have confirmed that Destruction AllStars Season 1, called Hotshots, will launch next week on 5th May. As part of the season, new content will be coming to the game, including free and premium versions of the AllStars Season Pass, featuring 100 reward tiers in total.
