Sony’s Gamescom Press Conference will take place next Tuesday in Cologne, Germany, but if you are unable to make it, we have details on how you can stream the event live. The Press Conference will takes place at 6pm BST on Tuesday 14th August.
On the European PlayStation Store this week you can find new PS3 games, Minis titles and DLC. There is also a selection of new avatars, themes and wallpapers available to download. No new PS Vita content is available on the Store this week, however. Don’t forget to check out the Summer Sale as well.
Superbot have announced via their Facebook Page that PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will include controller configuration support for all popular arcade stick peripherals. Since most of the DualShock 3 buttons can be mapped directly arcade sticks will be natively supported.
Sony and Codemasters have announced the sequel to Race Driver: GRID, which will be coming to the PS3 in Summer 2013. GRID 2 aims to stay true to its predecessor by delivering exceptional handling using the new “TrueFeel Handling System” and bringing handpicked cars spanning four decades and three continents.

Arkane Studios and Bethesda have released new screens for their new IP Dishonored. The screenshots were first unveiled at QuakeCon 2012 which took place earlier this month in Dallas, Texas.
Week Two of Europe’s Summer Sale begins tomorrow, and Sony is planning to add a number of new titles to the sale. Starting tomorrow, Sony adds a number of new PS3, PSOne, and PS Vita titles to the list.
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception will be getting it’s biggest patch to date later today, updating the game to version v1.13. The patch introduces a whole new multiplayer feature to the game. In addition, new DLC will be available starting August 15th.
Sony have revealed the release date for Sackboy’s latest adventure: LittleBigPlanet Karting. In addition, a new trailer for the game has also been released to celebrate the announcement. LittleBigPlanet Karting will be coming to Europe and North America this November.
Leviathan is Mass Effect 3’s first story-focused DLC, and in addition to introducing new characters, weapons, and combat challenges it promises to expand on what we know (and what we don’t) about the most feared beings in the universe — the Reapers.
