As mentioned earlier this month in the revised DLC schedule for Max Payne 3, Rockstar has confirmed that the “Disorganised Crime” will be released next week on all platforms. The DLC pack will be free to download, and including a multiplayer map, additional modifiers for Arcade Mode, and an all-new “Noir Mode”.
Lots of new content is available on the PlayStation Store in North America this week, including two new PS3 titles and a number of PSN titles available to purchase and download. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is available to purchase, and new PlayStation Plus content is available too, including access to the DUST 514 beta.
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is getting a Game of the Year Edition next month, combining the original game with several DLC packs that have been released for the game. Drake’s third adventure revolves around a search for the fabled “Atlantis of the Sands”, and will be available to purchase on September 19th 2012.
The fourth and final Summer Sale update in Europe goes live tomorrow, give you discounts on a number of PS3 titles and DLC, PSP titles, PS2 titles and Minis. Unfortunately, there are no new PS Vita titles included in the sale this week. The sale will finish next week on August 28th to be sure to grab the deals before they’re gone.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developers Monolith Productions have released a new behind-the-scenes video for their upcoming multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) title Guardians of Middle-Earth. The video shows a group of hardcore MOBA players giving the game a play test to provide feedback and help in the development and shaping of the title.
This bank holiday weekend (25th, 26th & 27th August), HMV in Oxford Street, London is demoing Wonderbook for the PS3, along with J. K. Rowling’s Book of Spells. In addition, pre-orders for the game will begin this weekend, with HMV giving discounts on the title.
PlayStation Plus members are getting a treat tomorrow, August 22nd. CCP is opening up the Dust 514 closed beta to all SCEE PlayStation Plus members, giving players a unique chance to experience the ground-breaking MMO shooter. Hurry though, as beta access ends on September 5th.
PlayStation C.A.M.P and Crispy’s have announced the Western release date for upcoming PSN title Tokyo Jungle. The game will be coming to the PS3 in September in North America and Europe. Tokyo Jungle is an action adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic Japan where humankind no longer exists and animals must ruthlessly fight for their lives.
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron releases onto Blu-ray and PSN this week in North America and Europe. A demo of the game is available on the PlayStation Store should you wish to try it out before purchasing the full version. Rockstar has released new screenshots for Grand Theft Auto 5, this time showing new modes of transportation including a bicycle and jet aircraft. The screenshot shows (included below) shows the game’s impressive visuals, although they might not be representative of the final game.
