The PlayStation Network has helped many indie developers get their games in front of gamers around the world, and the PS Vita has also seen its fair share of indie games. As a result, Sony has created a new category on the PlayStation Store to help you find all those indie games. The new section will give indie content extra exposure, and will be refreshed regularly with new content and promotions.
BEYOND: Two Souls Special Edition Revealed

Sony has confirmed that Quantic Dream’s BEYOND: Two Souls will be available as both a Standard Edition and Special Edition, with the Special Edition available via pre-order only. The Special Edition will include bonus content, most notably an additional 30 minute playable content and exclusive steel book packaging. Details about the additional playable content will be revealed at a later date, but you can see what else the special edition contains below.
Sony Announces PS3 Legacy Bundle for $300

Sony is trying to breathe new life into the PS3 by announcing a new PS3 Slim bundle featuring two games from the two of the biggest franchises on PlayStation. The PS3 Legacy bundle comes with a 500 GB Super Slim console, a DualShock 3 controller, and two games: Gran Turismo 5 XL Edition and inFamous 2, and a 30-day subscription to PlayStation Plus, giving you access to a number of additional games.
Sleeping Dogs Joins the Instant Game Collection in North America

SCEA has revealed what PlayStation Plus subscribers will be getting through the month of May in North America. The list includes three PS3 games and four PS Vita games – two of the titles are cross-buy compatible. Among the list of titles includes Sleeping Dogs for the PS3 and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift EXTEND for the PS Vita. Sleeping Dogs will be the first to be added to the Instant Game Collection as part of tomorrow’s PlayStation Store update.
Sony’s E3 2013 Press Conference Dated

Sony has revealed the date and time for their E3 2013 Press Conference, and Kaz has been confirmed as a speaker at the event. The Sony Press Conference will be held on Monday, June 10th at 6PM PST / 9PM EST / 2AM BST, and will be watchable via a number of streaming options, including the PlayStation.Blog and PlayStation Home. Hopefully, we’ll get to see what the PS4 will actually look like at E3, and hear about more games.
Fuse Getting Playable Demo Next Week

Insomniac’s third person shooter Fuse will be getting a playable demo next week, according to publishers EA. The demo will be released on the PlayStation Store on May 7th 2013, allowing players to play online cooperatively with up to four players, or in a 2-player split-screen. In the demo, players will take on the role of four elite operatives, who are out to protect mankind from Fuse, a deadly alien energy source which has been stolen by the rogue paramilitary organization, Raven.
Rumor Alert: Gran Turismo 6 Coming to PS3 in November

Rumours this week suggest that Sony are to release Gran Turismo 6 for the PlayStation 3 towards the end of this year. Several motoring websites, including Motor Authority, Jalopnik and Top Gear, have reported the finding as well as posting what may be the game’s official box art (see below). Although not officially confirmed by Sony, the fact that these sites are reporting the news adds some confidence in the rumour.
New GTA V Screens and Information Released

Rockstar Games has released a plethora of new screenshots for their upcoming game. Gran Theft Auto V. In addition, new information about the game was also revealed, including character customisation options, weapons, cars and more. Earlier this week, Rockstar also released three new trailers earlier this week.
EU PlayStation Store Update for May 1st 2013

Lots of new content is available on the PlayStation Store in Europe this week, and it’s also the first update for May. In addition to several new PS3 and PS Vita games being added to the PlayStation Store, three new games have been added to the Instant Game Collection for PlayStation Plus subscribers. New games include cross-buy title Zombie Tycoon II: Brainhov’s Revenge, and Machinarium on the PS Vita. New DLC content is also available for both consoles.
Call of Duty: Ghosts Announced

Activision has officially announced Call of Duty: Ghosts for the PS3, and other consoles, with a release date set for November 2013. The game will also be “available for next generation platforms,” and is being developed by original Call of Duty studio Infinity Ward. The announcement confirms a retailer leak from last week. The official trailer for the game has also been revealed.
