Ubisoft have released a new trailer for Watch_Dogs, which collates some of the awards and quotes from critics, showing their appreciation for the game. Unfortunately, the trailer doesn’t actually feature any new footage from the game – rather, it’s just clips from the trailers released in the past.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Exclusive Missions Detailed

The PlayStation version of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will include one hour of exclusive content starring Assassin’s Creed: Liberation heroine, Aveline de Grandpré. The bonus DLC will come bundled with the PS3 / PS4 copies of the game, and feature three additional missions. However, the missions won’t be a follow up to Assassin’s Creed Liberation, but instead more of a “short story”.
PS4 Playable at Eurogamer Expo in September

Eurogamer has confirmed that the PS4 will be playable on the show floor at the annual Eurogamer Expo in London this September. This will be the first chance the UK public has to go hands-on with the console and it’s upcoming games. The show runs from Thursday, September 26th until Sunday, September 29th 2013, but be prepared to big queues as 70,000 people are expected to attend the expo.
EU PlayStation Store Update for July 31st 2013

Lots of new PS3 and PS Vita games are available on the European PlayStation Store this week, as well as a number of new additions to the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection. A total of five new games have been added to the Instant Game Collection, including Need for Speed Most Wanted (PS3), Spec Ops The Line (PS3) and LEGO The Lord of the Rings (PS Vita).
Batman: Arkham Origins Multiplayer Revealed, Beta Invites Going Out

WB Games and Splash Damage have confirmed that Batman: Arkham Origins will be the first game in the Batman: Arkham series to feature a multiplayer mode. Called Invisible Predator Online, this new mode takes the concept of the earlier games’ Challenge Rooms and puts other players into the role of the Joker and Bane’s thugs.
Sony Imposing PS4 Pre-Order Limits in the UK

Sony’s upcoming PS4 is in such demand that the company has imposed pre-order limits in the UK so eager fans are not disappointed when the console launches later this year. Speaking to CVG, retail sources have confirmed that orders should be placed “before next week” in order for them to be fulfilled on launch day, meaning an effective pre-order deadline of August 5th if you want your PS4 as soon as possible.
US PlayStation Store Update for July 30th 2013

A number of new PSN and PS Vita games are available on the PlayStation Store this week, including The Last Bounty Hunter on the PS3, and Pixeljunk Monsters: Ultimate HD on the PS Vita. New PlayStation Plus content is also available, with Dokuro (PS Vita) now part of the Instant Game Collection. New DLC, themes, avatars and other content has also been added to the store.Read More
PlayStation Access Goes Hands-On with the PS4

Another new video from PlayStation Access has been released today, with Community Manager Hollie Bennett (@HollieB) giving you a close-up of the console, the DualShock 4 controller and the PlayStation Camera. The video shows how shiny one side of the console is, which wasn’t completely clear in the early photos of the console.
Sony and Panasonic Working on Blu-ray Successor

Sony and Panasonic have announced that they’re working on a new optical disc with the capacity to hold a minimum of 300 gigabytes of content. The work on the new format is expected to be completed before the end of 2015, and will be the successor to the Blu-ray disc, which has a maximum capacity of 50GB in dual-layer format.
Dragon’s Crown Confirmed for European Release in Autumn

North America will be getting Atlus and Vanillaware’s Dragon’s Crown on the PS Vita and PS3 as early as August 6th 2013, but a European release of the game wasn’t confirmed until this week. NIS America has confirmed that Dragon’s Crown will be coming to the UK and Europe, but doesn’t have a release date as of yet.
