Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. has announced that the PlayStation 4 has sold more than 30.2 million units as of 22nd November 2015. With this week’s Black Friday sales and the Holiday season coming up, it will be interesting to see how this figure jumps in the New Year.
The EU PlayStation store is having a Black Friday Sale this weekend (available until November 30th), giving you some nice discounts on a variety of titles across all three PlayStation consoles. For example, you can pick up Telltale’s various series-based titles for a fraction of the original price.
Sony has revealed December’s PlayStation Plus line-up, which include six new games across the three PlayStation consoles. PS4 owners can look forward to Gauntlet: Slayer Edition and King’s Quest Chapter 1, while PS3 owners can get SSX.
The third episode in Telltale’s Minecraft: Story Mode will be releasing tomorrow, Tuesday, 24th November 2015. The new episode is titled The Last Place You Look, and sees Jesse and crew racing against the clock to locate Soren, the final member of the Order of the Stone.
Psyonix has announced the latest paid DLC, which will be available this December. Titled Chaos Run, the pack includes two new cards, 12 new decals, two new paint jobs, wheels and trails, three car toppers, and three antennas. It will also add five new trophies to the ever-expanding collection.
Quantic Dream has announced that Beyond: Two Souls will be released on PS4, as a digital download, from November 26th 2015. The PS4 edition will be available for €29.99/£24.99 from the PlayStation Store. The studio also confirmed that that Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls Collection will release on March 1st 2016 in North America, and March 2nd 2016 in Europe.
New content is available on the European PlayStation store, with five new PS4 games, four new PS3 games and two new PS Vita games added. New games this week include Star Wars Battlefront (PS4), The Crew: Wild Run (PS4) and Pixel Hunter (PS Vita). You can also find new DLC content and the season finale of Telltale’s Game of Thrones.
It’s time for another look at the European PlayStation Store download chart, to see which PS4, PS3 and PS Vita games sold the most digital copies. On the PS4, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection took top spot, beating the previous number 1 Destiny: The Taken King.
Telltale Games has revealed that Episode 3 of Minecraft: Store Mode will be releasing later this month, keeping up with their impressive release speed. The season finale for Game of Thrones is also releasing this month, on November 17th 2015.
