New Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Map Available from Today

Naughty Dog have released a new update for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End today focusing on the multiplayer aspect of the game. As part of the update, a new multiplayer map has been added, and is available to all players for free. Called New Devon, the map is set in the lush ruins of an abandoned pirate colony, and it’s one of the largest maps to-date.

PlayStation Plus Games for September 2016 Revealed

Sony has revealed the six new games that will be making their way to the Instant Game Collection for PlayStation Plus subscribers. EU PlayStation Store Update for 30th August 2016

The last PlayStation Store update for August is in, adding plenty of new games for the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. This week, you can find 17 new PS4 games, including the Battlefield 1 open beta, God Eater 2 and Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X. On the One new PS3 title and four new PS Vita titles have also been added to the store this week, along with some new add-on content.

Gran Turismo Sport Delayed, No New Release Date

Polyphony Digital has announced that upcoming racing simulator, Gran Turismo Sport, has been delayed until further notice. The game was originally slated for release in November 2016, but statement from studio founder Kazunori Yamauch indicates that more time is required to perfect the game before release. As a result, the studio cannot confirm a new release date, which means the game won’t be out anytime this year.

Based on the comic of the same name by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, the show revolved around a special police department known as the Powers Division which investigated crimes caused by those with super abilities.

Sony Launches New Behind-the-Scenes Video Series for PlayStation VR

Sony has announced that it will be releasing a series of behind-the-scenes videos showing the creation of the PlayStation VR, from the earliest prototype right through to the final version, which will be releasing in October. Over the next several weeks, new videos will be made available regularly, covering the tech in the headset, 3D audio and intuitive control inputs to create truly immersive gameplay experiences.

Sony to Hold Press Conference at Tokyo Game Show on 13th September 2016

Sony has announced that it will be holding a press conference at Tokyo Game Show in September. The press conference is scheduled for 4pm local time on 13th September 2016, which is equivalent to 8am BST / 9am CEST / 3am EDT, depending on where you are in the world. The TGS press conference will take place despite Sony having a separate press conference less than a week before, where the PlayStation “Neo” and PS4 Slim are expected to be officially unveiled.

Sony Improves PSN Security with Two Factor Authentication

Sony has finally beefed up security on the PlayStation Network by introducing 2-Step Verification (2SV). Users can opt-in to 2SV to add an additional layer of security to their PSN Account. If you’re unfamiliar with 2SV, it’s basically a two step process that uses SMS to send time-limited, unique codes to your mobile to confirm your identity. This means that anyone trying to access your account would need to know your email / password, and have access to your mobile device.

EU PlayStation Store Update for 23rd August 2016

New content has been added to the European PlayStation Store this week, with 15 new PS4 games, two new PS3 games and one new PS Vita game added. New games this week include Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (PS4), Worms W.M.D (PS4) and the Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 demo (PS3, PS4). You can also find new DLC for a number of PS4 titles.
