PlayStation Plus Games for July 2018 Revealed

The line-up of PlayStation Plus games for July 2018 has been revealed by Sony. PS4 owners can look forward to Quantic Dream’s Heavy Rain, and RPG title Absolver, both of which will be available to download for free for subscribers on 3rd July 2018. The update also includes two PS3 and two PS Vita games too.

Sony has introduced the PlayStation Hits range of games for the PS4, just like the PS3 before it. Available from 18th July 2018, some of the PS4 greatest titles will be available for €19.99/£15.99 RRP each, and will be available through the PlayStation Store and physically via retailers.

A rumour is currently doing the rounds suggesting that PlayStation Now will allow it’s on-demand games to be downloaded and played offline. An industry source was able to confirm to Kotaku UK that the functionality is due to roll out in late September this year.

EU PlayStation Store Update for 19th June 2018

New content is available on the European PlayStation Store this week, with over fifteen new PS4 games out, and a new PS Vita game. Notable games this week include virtual reality titles Kona VR and The Exorcist: Legion VR. You can also find the Crew 2 open beta, which will be available between 21st and 25th June.

Marking the 5th anniversary of The Last of Us, Naughty Dog has revealed that the game has sold 17 million copies between the PS3 and PS4. Santa Monica Studio has confirmed that a upcoming update will add New Game+ to God of War. The new mode will let you start a new game while keeping some of the weapons and upgrades you’ve obtained from the completion of your last play. However, New Game+ won’t be as easy as you might imagine, as the difficulty has increased too.
