The first single-player DLC for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag rolls out later today in North America, followed by Europe tomorrow. The Freedom Cry DLC is the first major add-on for the game, adding around five hours of additional gameplay to the game, and set 15 years after the events of the game.

DC Comics DLC Pack Coming to LittleBigPlanet

Media Molecule has announced a new expansion for LittleBigPlanet 2, set in the DC Comics universe, and featuring a series of brand-new levels inspired by the comics. The DLC also adds new gameplay elements, such as the Hero Cape power-up, which allows players to fly long distances. New costumes will also be available for Sackboy, including Catwoman, Aquaman, and Lex Luthor.
The Walking Dead Season 2 is Coming “Very Soon”, New Trailer Released

Telltale Games has released a new trailer for upcoming Season 2 of The Walking Dead, which is launching this month on the PS3 and other platforms, though no actual release date has been confirmed. Season Two will continue the story of Clementine months later, who must seek safety and survive in a infected and desolate world.
PS4 Confirmed as Biggest Console Launch

DFC has confirmed that Sony’s PS4 was the biggest console launch of all time in terms of hardware unit sales, beating the two previous record holders: the Nintendo Wii and PS2. The PS4 sold more consoles in the first two weeks on sale that any other console, including Microsoft’s Xbox One.
PlayStation Plus Titles Revealed for January 2014

Sony Europe has revealed the PlayStation Plus line-up for January 2014, which includes a PS4 title, two PS3 titles and two PS Vita titles. New PlayStation Plus content will start to appear on the Store from December 24th 2013, starting with the PS3 and PS Vita titles. DmC (PS3), Borderlands 2 (PS3), Soul Sacrifice (PS Vita) and Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend (PS Vita) will be added to the Store in December, followed by Don’t Starve (PS4) in January.
NPD Figures for November 2013 Reveal PS4 as Top Selling Platform, Xbox One Fastest Selling

According to the latest NPD figures, the PS4 was the biggest selling console in the US last month, but the Xbox One was the faster selling one. We already know that the PS4 managed to sell over one million units in the first 24 hours, while the Xbox One managed to sell approximately 101k every day. It wasn’t revealed how many units the PS4 sold exactly in November, however.
PS4 Now Available in 48 Countries

The PS4 has launched in eleven more counties as of this morning, adding Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Slovakia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and South Africa to the list of launch countries. This means the PS4 is now available in 48 countries around the world, compared to just 13 countries for the Xbox One.
Amazon UK Launches PSN Store

Amazon UK has launched a PSN Store on their website, allowing you to purchase PSN Codes for various content, including digital games, add-on content, top-ups and PlayStation Plus membership. The offerings are limited at the moment, but hopefully it means gamers will be able to purchase digital content at sightly lower prices that what the PlayStation Store currently offers.
PS4 Owners Share Over 20 Million Minutes of Live Gameplay

Sony has revealed that PS4 gamers have shared more than 800,000 gameplay broadcasts, and over 7.1 million spectate sessions via Twitch and UStream. In total, that adds up to more than 20 million minutes of live gameplay across the globe. According to UStream, the average broadcast was 31 minutes long, while Twitch reports that 10% of all content on the platform since 15th November has come from the PS4.
Contrast Patch Now Available for Download on PS4

Compulsion Games has released a patch for Contrast to fix certain bugs and glitches affecting the game. The patch is now available to download for the PS4 in Europe, while the North American patch should be releasing soon once Sony has approved it. The PS3 patch will also be available for both territories soon, once the PlayStation Network is updated.
