Sony has confirmed its E3 2014 press conference slot, which will scheduled for June 9th 2014 at 6PM PDT, which works out to be 2AM BST for the UK and 3AM for Europe. Sony’s press conference will be the on the same day as Microsoft’s Xbox Game On press conference, which take place at 9:30am that morning.
SCEA has released the PlayStation Store chart for April 2014, revealing the top selling PS4, PS3 and PS Vita games last month. Minecraft is once again the top selling PS3 game, while Trials Fusion was the top selling game on the PS4. Recently released PS4 title Octodad: Dadliest Catch debuted on the chart in 2nd position.
Sony recently added the ability to dim the DualShock 4’s lightbar in Firmware v1.70, but you cannot turn it off completely. The reason for this was unknown, until now that is. Speaking to TechRadar, SCEE Senior Designer Jed Ashforth revealed that the controller’s lightbar is required for Project Morpheus.

PS4 firmware v1.70 is now available to download, and brings with it a massive number of new features and improvements. Along with the previously mentioned new features, including SHAREfactory, HDCP off for games and USB export options, the new firmware update also adds options to dim the lightbar on the DualShock 4, adds new Friend options, Trophy sorting and a whole lot more.
