SOCOM 4 is preparing to deploy to stores in North America in just a few months on April 19th. In the mean time, Zipper Interactive has also released a new video of the game, showing more multiplayer action from the title. Sony has announced a new minor firmware revision for the PlayStation 3, presumably, to stop hackers from installing custom firmware and running unofficial code on the console. Firmware version v3.56 will be available to download soon. Sony’s official change log simply states: “This is a minor update that adds a security patch.”

A new multiplayer video of Killzone 3 has been released ahead of the games release and open beta. The new multiplayer video shows Killzone 3‘s third multiplayer map, Bilgarsk Boulevard – just one of eight different multiplayer maps in the game. The Bilgarsk Boulevard will be available to play in the open beta next month.
