Guerrilla Games’ Horizon: Forbidden West was one of the real highlights of the PS5 reveal event, but you will be disappointed to know that the game will not be a launch title.
Mathijs de Jonge, director for the game, revealed more information in a new video, including the details about the vast environments, new enemies and most importantly, an release window.
In the video above, de Jonge reveals that the game is aiming for a 2021 release, but no specific time frame was given.
“We have been working very hard in order to create a worthy sequel, one that will hopefully appeal to all the fans, but also newcomers to the franchise. And we’re aiming to release the game next year in 2021.”
