Ubisoft has announced that the company will stop developing for last-gen consoles. The news was revealed by CEO Yves Guillemot in an earnings call yesterday. Guillemot confirmed that products like Assassin’s Creed, Rainbow Six, The Division and unannounced games, will not get betting PS3 or Xbox 360 versions.

“On Just Dance, we will continue to bring old-gen console versions,” said Yves. “But on the other products like Assassin’s Creed, Rainbow Six, The Division, and the unannounced franchise, we will not have old-gen versions.”

The new franchise mentioned in the earnings call is set to be announced at E3 in June, but will not be getting a last-gen release.
