Lets face it… FirstPlay didn’t really work out for Sony and Future Publishing, who also run the Official PlayStation Magazine. After the first month of subscribing, even I canceled and moved on to other resources for my gaming fix. But its not over – Future Publishing has announced a new joint venture for a video show with Sony.
FirstPlay published it’s last episode last week, after over a year in circulation. The new video show will replace FirstPlay, but it will be completely free. Lets just hope it’s better than FirstPlay.
i for one am GUTTED that FirstPlay has been cancelled. It gave me something to look forward to when i got home from work on a Wednesday afternoon (MOST DEPRESSING DAY OF THE WEEK) and i found it very well written and sometimes very funny. It is INFINITELY better than QORE the USA version. that is only out once a MONTH whereas FirstPlay was out once a week and QORE had LESS in it per episode.
No i think this is bang out of order for us subscribers. I mean why couldnt they do both like the USA has PULSE and QORE? Its us UK Sony customers getting a sub par service in comparison. AGAIN !
