In addition to the recently announced trophy patch for Metal Gear Solid 4, Konami has also confirmed that there will be a new retail version of the game, known as “The Best” edition, available at a lower price and allowing gamers to install all the game data needed for the game from the start.

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD Getting 3D and PlayStation Move Support Next Week
Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD will be getting a massive patch next week. The free update will add 3DTV support to the game as well as PlayStation Move compatibility. Amongst the other changes, the patch also adds YouTube uploading and a number of bugfixes.
Portal 2 Getting PlayStation Move Compatibility
Portal 2 on the PlayStation 3 will be getting a patch that adds PlayStation Move compatibility to the game. The patch will also offer 20 new Test Chambers that will require the Move controller. The patch will also lets gamers use the Move controller in the main single-player mode too.
Uncharted 3 Patch v1.11 Available End of May
Towards the end of May, Naughty Dog will be releasing a new patch for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Patch v1.11 will bring with it the return of the Lab, which was first introduced in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The Lab is a playlist featuring a unique series of multiplayer game types both challenging and fun.
LittleBigPlanet 2 Patch 1.12 Out This Week
LittleBigPlanet 2 will be getting a patch this week, bringing the game to version v1.12. The patch will introduce a few tweaks to the game to address user feedback, including removal of negative feedback from the Level Rating System. Check out the changelog below.
Gran Turismo 5 Getting Minor Patch This Week
Kazunori Yamauchi has confirmed that a minor Gran Turismo 5 update will be going live this week, bringing the game up to version v2.05. The update includes various bug fixes and improves the stability of online play.
Uncharted 3 Patch v1.04 Now Available
Patch v1.04 for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is now available to download. In short, the patch fixes various bugs with the game. The patch also prepares the game for the upcoming DLC – the first of which hits the PlayStation Store today. New DLC in the form of co-op missions and skin packs will be available in North America today, followed by more DLC later this month.
New Gran Turismo 5 DLC And Update Incoming
A new DLC pack is making it’s way to Gran Turismo 5 very soon – 18th January to be exact. This new pack has two components, the first of which features brand new cars, and will be priced at €5.99/£4.79. The second component of the new content is the Speed Test Pack, which will be priced at €3.99/£3.19. In addition to the new DLC, Functionality Update v2.03 will also be released.
New Gran Turismo 5 DLC and Patch Coming Next Week
Some new content is coming to Gran Turismo 5 next week, including the second round of DLC. Next week you’ll be able to download Car Pack 2 for $3.99 and add some fantastic new rides to your garage. Car Pack 2 includes the 2011 Mini Cooper S, 2010 Volkswagen Golf VI R, 2010 Volkswagen Scirocco R, and the new and improved 2012 Nissan GT-R Black edition R35.
