Following suit with Europe, SCEA have released the PlayStation Store download chart for September 2015, showing the top downloaded games and content for all PlayStation platforms. The top three PS4 games for September are exactly the same as Europe, with Destiny: The Taken King beating MGSV and FIFA 16.
September 2015 saw many new big games released on the PS4 and PS3, so last month’s top selling PlayStation Store chart comes as no surprise. On the PS4 and PS3, Destiny: The Taken King was the top selling title according to SCEE, followed by FIFA 16 in second on both consoles.
Sony has announced that maintenance is scheduled to take place next week for approximately 2 hours. The PlayStation Network and associated services will be unavailable between 04:30 GMT to 06:30 GMT on October 14th 2015. In North America, this maintenance window falls on October 13th 2015, between 21:30 PDT to October 13, 23:30 PDT.

July saw a number of new releases for the PS4, with five making the top 10, but Journey was the best selling new release overall, beating God of War III Remastered (3rd place) and Life is Strange (5th place). On the PS3, Minecraft returns to the top of the chart (up from 3rd), and Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars come in 2nd place thanks to the release of Rocket League on PS4.
With a PlayStation Plus subscription, games get 1 GB of cloud storage included in the subscription plan, letting you back up your savedata. The space is sufficient for the PS3 and PS Vita, where savedata is much smaller (usually a few megabytes per game), but the same can’t be said about the PS4. As I recently found out, many PS4 games have far larger data saved, filling up your cloud storage quickly.

Final Fantasy VII saw a sudden surge in downloads too, thanks to this announcement.

The European PlayStation network is experiencing slower than usual download speeds according to users, and Sony has confirmed the report. This means that if you’re downloading a game or patch, it will take longer than usual to complete. Sony is aware of the issue and is currently investigating.
Sony has announced that scheduled maintenance on the PlayStation Network will take place next Monday / Tuesday, mainly affecting North America gamers. The maintenance will take place on Monday, June 29th, from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM Pacific Time (12:00 AM to 2:00 AM Eastern Time).
