The Black Friday sale has kicked off on the European PlayStation Store, giving PlayStation Plus subscribers a 48-hour head-start on the sales. You can save up to 60% on some big titles, include GT Sport, which is 50% off, 60% of GTA V, and 30% off Assassin’s Creed Origins. PlayStation Plus membership has also been discounted by 25% for all players on PlayStation Store until 28th November
The Sims 4 has finally arrived on consoles – it’s been available on PC for a few years. Having played the previous PS2 and PS3 titles, I was eager to get my hands on the latest version – and the first Sims title on the PS4. This one-player game lets you control “sims” in a virtual world, where you can build your own home, seduce neighbours and generally play with life.
New content and games are available on the European PlayStation Store this week, with over 20 new games added. Releasing on the PS4 this week, you can find STAR WARS Battlefront II, The Sims 4, and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. You can also find a handful of new games for the PS3 and PS Vita.
New games and downloadable content have been added to the PlayStation Store this week, with over 20 new PS4 games and four new PS Vita games. New games this week include Need for Speed Payback, Nioh Complete Edition and the very easy platinum My Name is Mayo.
The European PlayStation Store saw plenty of new releases last month, including Assassin’s Creed Origins and Gran Turismo Sport, but unfortunately FIFA 18 continued its rein of the chart by selling the most digital copies in October.
PlayStation Plus subscribers will get access to new games from 7th November, and Sony has revealed exactly what games to expect. On the PS4, you can expect two new titles, including Worms Battlegrounds, but also a bonus PlayStation VR title: Until Dawn: Rush of Blood.
The next episode for Final Fantasy XV has been dated along with the release of a new trailer. Episode Ignis will be released on 13th December 2017, and you can see the trailer for the upcoming episode below. Those with the season pass will able to download the episode at no extra cost.

New footage has finally been revealed for The Last of Us Part II, at Paris Games Week today. The below video shows an all-new in-game cutscene running on the PS4 Pro (4K), showcasing several new characters integral to the upcoming game. Like the previous game, Part II will is still very much Ellie and Joel.
A minor update for the PS4 has been released, updating the system software version to v5.01. This is a very minor update and is currently not mandatory to install. However, it may be required if you attempt to play some newer games. The changelog indicates that this update improves system performance.
