If you’re previously signed up to take part in PS4 Firmware beta tests, check your inbox because invites for testing PS4 Firmware 6.00 are going out at the moment. Unfortunately, at this stage the update “does not include any new major consumer-facing features,” according to the email invite, so we don’t know what the upcoming firmware update has in store for gamers.

PlayStation Plus Games for August 2018 Revealed

The August 2018 line-up of PlayStation Plus games have been revealed, and will be available on the PlayStation Store from 7th August 2018. For the PS4, subscribers can look forward to Mafia III and Dead by Daylight. The August line-up also includes two bonus games – one for the PS VR and one for PlayLink.
EU PlayStation Store Update for 24th July 2018

We’re a few days late in posting the weekly PlayStation Store update details. This week, you can find over 20 new PS4 games and a new PS Vita game available for purchase. There is also a handful of new add-on content. New games this week include Train Sim World, The Banner Saga 3 and Mega Man X Legacy Collection.
The Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta Announced for Early August

The PS4 is getting an exclusive private beta for upcoming shooter Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4, followed by a separate private beta in September. Starting at 5pm BST on 3rd August, the beta will be available to those who have pre-ordered Black Ops 4 for the PS4. The following weekend, the beta will open up to other platforms.
No Man’s Sky to get Multiplayer in Free Update Next Week

On July 24th No Man’s Sky will be getting a massive free update titled “No Man’s Sky Next”. The update brings a full multiplayer experience to the game, as well as other improvements including improved visuals, unlimited base buildings and more. Check out the trailer and patch notes below.
Top PSN Sellers for June 2018 in North America

The US PlayStation Store chart for June 2018 has been revealed, showing the top selling PlayStation games in North America last month. On the PS4, the top seller was GTA V, beating FIFA 18 and God of War to the top. Elsewhere, Job Simulator was the top selling title PS VR title, and H1Z1: Battle Royale was the top free-to-play title.
EU PlayStation Store Update for 17th July 2018

New content is available on the European PlayStation Store today, which includes over fifteen new PS4 games and a new PS Vita game. Notable new releases this week include Far Cry 5’s second DLC Lost on Mars, Utawarerumono: Deception and Truth Bundle and Chicken Assassin: Reloaded.
PAL PlayStation Store Chart for June 2018

The PlayStation Store chart for June 2018 has been released, showing the top selling games in Europe last month. On the PS4, FIFA 18 was the top selling title, likely due to World Cup fever. Last month’s top seller, Detroit: Become Human, dropped to tenth in the chart, and God of War continues to hold the third position.

New content is available on the European PlayStation Store, with over 25 new PS4 games available for purchase. New games this week include free-to-play shooter Defiance 2050, PS3 remaster Shining Resonance Refrain and first-person puzzler The Spectrum Retreat. You can also find new DLC too.
Sony Increasing PlayStation Vue Subscription

Sony has announced that the cost of PlayStation Vue’s multi-channel plans are set to increase starting 24th July 2018. The four plans: Access, Core, Elite and Ultra; will each go up by $5 per month, and will come into effect for current subscribers by the end of the month. The price increase does not affect the add-on and standalone channels.
