MotorStorm Apocalypse has received a massive update, adding lots of new features to the game. One of the biggest additions is the ability to create and share game modes and vehicles. Gran Turismo 5 has received a patch now that the PSN is back up and running. Kazunori Yamauchi made it clear at launch back in November that the game would continue to develop and be updated during its life cycle. This latest update from Polyphony comes in the form of version 1.10 and includes many improvements and new features to welcome players back to online racing via PSN.
The latest version of the Official PlayStation App (1.05) is now available to download from the iTunes App Store and Android Marketplace. The App is compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch (OS 4 and above), or most Android compatible handsets (OS 1.6 and above).
A new update for Gran Turismo 5 is now available to download. The patch adds several new features and improvements to the game (detailed below), including better rewards in GT Mode for a limited time only, and earning experience when playing online.
Gran Turismo 5 has received yet another patch, this time weighing in at nearly 150MB. The new patch required the latest PS3 Firmware update v3.55, which was released earlier today. Early reports suggest that this particular update added a setting for mechanical damage in online games, from “none”, “light” and “heavy”.
Playing online in GT5 is all good until someone brings a super-charged car to the race and smokes everyone in the race. To address the issue Polyphony Digital will be releasing a new patch this weekend to restrict things like max power and weight. As a result, the races will be evenly matched giving everyone a equal chance to win.

A new update for PlayTV is now available to purchase from the PlayStation Store. The new update not only adds the ability to record a entire series automatically, it also allows you to chat with friends on the PlayStation Network while watching your favourite show.
EA has announced that a patch for FIFA 2011 will be available to download tomorrow. EA have reviewed all the feedback since the game’s launch as had made a significant number of changes to the game. The MAG 2.0 patch has been available since the end of September, but the DLC portion of the beta has remained unreleased — but not for too much longer. Starting November 2, the three-faction gunplay whirlwind, the “Escalation” Add-on Pack, will be available for download from the PlayStation Store for $9.99 (US)!
