From tomorrow, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to grab Stranger’s Wrath HD, inFamous 2, MotorStorm: Apocalypse, LittleBigPlanet 2, Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, Renegade Ops, and a number of other games, all for free. SCEA announced a similar selection of games for North America at last night’s E3 Press Conference.
PlayStation 3 exclusive MotorStorm Apocalypse is now available for download on PlayStation Store for £22.99/€24.99. The title was previously only available on Blu-ray. The developers have also released a new video showcasing the best of what the game has to offer. Check the video out below.
A new patch is available for MotorStorm Apocalypse, bringing it up to version v1.06. The new patch brings a number of balance changes, and also enables support for Sony’s previously announced SimulView 3D monitor, allowing two players to play competitively full-screen.
MotorStorm Apocalypse has received a massive update, adding lots of new features to the game. One of the biggest additions is the ability to create and share game modes and vehicles. Now that MotorStorm Apocalypse is available in Europe, the first DLC had hit the PlayStation Store too. You’ve got two weeks from today to pick up the Supercar Elite, and then it’s gone forever. In the same two weeks, you’ll be able to freshen up your existing rides with the Launch Livery.
The MotorStorm Apocalypse Demo is out to download on the PlayStation Store today. In the demo you can race one of the lightning-fast Supercars or extremely agile Superbikes, both available for action racing in MotorStorm for the first time. Also new, (but not playable in the demo), are Choppers, Superminis and Muscle Cars, plus the legendary mix of diverse vehicle classes from previous MotorStorm games.

Apocalypse is almost here, that’s MotorStorm Apocalypse the game in case you were worried. The European launch date for the game is March 16th 2011. The official box art for the game has also been revealed this week; you can find the the European and US box covers below.
MotorStorm Apocalypse isn’t out for another few months (Spring 2011) but you can start preparing from now. Three pre-order content packs have been revealed, each with content exclusive to the respective pack. The pre-order packs will be available from selected retailers across North America, including Amazon, Best Buy and GameStop.

The premise this time around, according to Evolution Studios’ Matt Southern, is urban off-road racing. This is not a post-apocalyptic city; you’re there during the apocalypse and every second of every race you’re bombarded with earthquakes, explosions and other environmental madness.
