Don’t Starve will be getting a co-op standalone game on the PS4 called Don’t Starve Together. The game will have the same mechanics as the original game, but with added challenges and events, and split screen gameplay on PS4. The game will also include the Reign of Giants DLC and online multiplayer.
Klei Entertainment has confirmed that new DLC will be making it’s way to the PS4 version of Don’t Starve. The new DLC, titled Reign Of Giants, will be available to purchase on July 23rd 2014, for just $4.99 – PlayStation Plus subscribers will also get a 10% discount. The DLC introduces two new characters: Webber and Wigfrid; and new creatures, including giants.
Don’t Starve is the latest PS4 game to join the Instant Game Collection this month for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The game’s trophy list has been revealed, detailing the requirements to earn each one. As expected, the game does not have a platinum trophy, and only includes a total of 10 trophies.
