The latest firmware update for the PS3 was recently released to developers to install on “debug” consoles. Some images of the new firmware have been leaked (as usual) and clearly shows a “3D video output” option. With the release of the first 3D TVs just months away, Sony is already preparing to add 3D support to the PS3.
This week on the Comic Store, IDW have released the highly entertaining (and adult) Tank Girl: The Gifting, and Groom Lake comes to a end – the final episode comes with audio commentary. Also, the complete Marvel Zombies mini series is available from the store.

The story in Heavy Rain is so deep and powerful that it’s hard not to emotions when playing the game. Battelfield: Bad Company 2 is set for release on March 2nd 2010 in North America and Europe a few days later, on March 5th 2010. In addition, DICE will also be releasing two exclusive downloadable content packs on launch day, both for free. The game will have an in-game store when you can download the content from. “I think people will be thrilled to see what’s in [the store]. On day one, you will get some really cool stuff,” said senior producer Patrick Bach in an interview.
Yakuza 3 hits shelves on March 12th 2010, and will be available as a premium edition. The premium edition will come with exclusive downloadable content, a 31 track soundtrack set and a Yakuza Who’s Who; a fully animated guide as to how all the characters are connected and who turned from rivals to allies.
