With the success of Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2, Insomniac Games have announced the third title in the series. Insomniac Games announced the third title at the PlayStation press conference at gamescom earlier this week in Cologne, Germany. While not a lot of detail was given away, they did reveal a live-action trailer (see below).
On the US PSP Store this week you can find a new downloadable game and a new playable demo. There is also a new Minis title available and new packs for LittleBigPlanet. Finally, you can check out a few new game trailers and a few new XMB themes.
On the US PlayStation Store this week you can find the PSN title Top Gun available for purchase and three new playable demos. There are lots of new game add-on packs available for download including LittleBigPlanet Marvel Costumes and an Uncharted 2 Skin pack. You can also find lots of new game videos and trailers to enjoy.
This fall, two new PS3 models will be available to purchase featuring bigger hard drives. A new 320GB model will include the Sports Champions Move bundle, and a new 160GB system will replace the currentl 120GB slim model. These new higher capacity models will continue to offer the same advanced features and functions of the current models, but with approximately 33 percent more capacity and at compelling price points.
Feast your eyes on a new inFamous 2 trailer straight from GamesCom 2010. It has all the things you could want: new looks of New Marais, monsters, running pedestrians, and an electrified Cole being in the center of it all (who by the way should look a little more familiar. Another new trailer was revealed at gamescom 2010 earlier today, this time showing off some multiplayer action in Killzone 3. Killzone 3’s multiplayer mode adds heaps of new features to the strong fundamentals laid by its predecessor, creating a fresh multiplayer experience that everyone can enjoy.
Today at gamescom 2010, a new trailer of LittleBigPlanet 2 was revealed to the public. The new trailer shows more footage of the story mode from the game. Check out the new footage below.
Top Gun, the game based on the classic 80’s film, will be available to download from the PlayStation Store later today. The game features 11 campaign missions, a horde mode, and 16 player online multiplayer with five game modes. You can fly in one of six jets including the US Navy’s F-14, F-16, or F/A-18 or the enemy’s MiG-29, MiG-31, or Su-27.
In less than three months since ModNations Racers was released, the online community has created and published over 1.1 million items of content. This means there were roughly 633 karts, mods, and tracks published per hour, which equates to roughly 15,000 creations published per day.
On the European PlayStation Store this week you can find a new downloadable game, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, and two new Minis titles. You can also find the Mafia II playable demo, and lots of new game add-on content. FirstPlay Episode 019 is available to download and two new dynamic themes and several static XMB themes have also been added to the store.
