On Thursday 29th September from 8AM BST PlayStation Home will be briefly offline for scheduled maintenance. As a result, PlayStation Home will be updated with v1.55 of the client, with some improvements to the Home start up flow, wardrobe and furniture browsing, and much more.
While at the Eurogamer Expo last week, website BroGamer took the opportunity to make a note of Uncharted 3?s trophy list. DC Universe Online will soon be free to download from the PlayStation Store, and free-to-play with no monthly fees required. So what’s the catch? There is none. The entire game will be open for you to play for free.
The Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Trilogy is heading to the PS3 on Tuesday, October 4th 2011. The game will launch on Blu-ray and the PlayStation simultaneously. The trilogy includes Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory all in one overstuffed bundle.

A new patch is available for MotorStorm Apocalypse, bringing it up to version v1.06. The new patch brings a number of balance changes, and also enables support for Sony’s previously announced SimulView 3D monitor, allowing two players to play competitively full-screen.
The Battlefield 3 beta dates have been announced for the PS3. The Beta is open to all and will run from September 29th to October 10th. You can join it by simply going to the going the PlayStation Store and navigating to the Demos section and downloading the Battlefield 3 demo.
